Cette exposition inclut de nouvelles oeuvres créées lors de ma résidence avec AbTeC (Aboriginal Territories in Cyberspace) avec Milieux à l’Université Concordia ; ce projet bénéficie du soutien financier du Conseil des arts et des lettres du Québec et le Conseil des arts de Montréal. L’origine de ce projet se trouve dans des conversations que j'ai eu avec les Aînés Jerry Saddleback et John Janvier à Edmonton, Alberta, et s’est poursuit avec de la recherche faite au Tsi Ronterihwanónhnha ne Kanien’keha Centre de langue et culture à Kanehsatà:ke, Québec. Niawenkó:wa à AbTeC pour leur appui avec leur accord d'une résidence d’artiste à Concordia, ainsi qu’à Hilda Nicholas, Ellen Gabriel, Scott Benesiinaabandan et Skawennati pour leurs diverses contributions à la croissance de ce projet.

This solo exhibition features new work created during my time as artist-in-residence at AbTeC (Aboriginal Territories in Cyberspace) through Milieux at Concordia University. It was made possible through the financial support of the Conseil des arts et des lettres du Québec and the Conseil des arts de Montréal. This project originated from conversations with Elders Jerry Saddleback and John Janvier in Edmonton, Alberta, and continued to develop through research at the Tsi Ronterihwanónhnha ne Kanien'kéha Language and Cultural Center in Kanehsatake. Niawenkó:wa to AbTeC for the opportunities provided by my time in residence, as well as Hilda Nicholas, Ellen Gabriel, Scott Benesiinaabandan and Skawennati for their contributions to the growth of this project.
